We are currently camped at Mission Bay RV Resort in San Diego, California. This campground is of the blacktop variety but does have lots of trees. The Big Rig is on the right.
I’m not usually a fan of blacktop campgrounds, but the location of this place more than makes up for it. We are surrounded by blue water. It’s amazing.
Blacktop makes bike riding a breeze, except for the out-of-shape part. My plan is to get ‘back’ in shape by increasing my distance everyday. So far Other Half doesn’t have a bike riding plan. He has a golf course plan. In addition to being surrounded by water, there are 18 holes next door. In fact, it’s an 18 hole ‘lighted’ golf course. Do lights really help golf scores?
We do have a walking plan. Surrounding the campground is a paved walking/biking path. Rigby loves it. So does Beasly, our daughters pooch. They spent the weekend with us.
Lots to explore in the Mission Bay Area. We are here for a month. This is the longest we’ve stayed in one location since we left Ohio last November. This is a cool place to spend a month, maybe even two. We’ll see.
